Kenneth Wayne (Ken) Breedlove, Sr., 58, of Spencer, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2007. He was born June 16, 1949 in Indianapolis, IN to Irvin Breedlove and Bessie Shoemake. He was a Bus Driver for Holy Cross Central School, Mechanic for the Sheriff’s Department, and owner and operator of K&K Son’s Produce Stand. He served in the U.S. Army. Ken is survived by his wife of 31 years, Phyllis (Holtsclaw) Breedlove; daughters, Christina N. Johnson, Pamela R. Breedlove, Tonya F. Johnson, Melinda A. Langston (Michael), Kendra D. Breedlove, Lorena F. Breedlove, Alecia R. Breedlove; son, Ryan W. Breedlove; nine grandchildren; sisters, Brenda Cook, Nancy Slayman (David); brother, Richard Lawrence (Jerri); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one son, Kenneth Wayne Breedlove, Jr.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Indianapolis, Indiana, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 11th. Calling will be Friday, from 3 to 9 p.m. at Harry Moore Family Mortuary with Rosary Service starting at 8:30 p.m. Interment will be at Calvary Cemetery Indianapolis, IN with full military honors.

Ken was a nice guy that will be missed not only by friends and family but by his neighbors as well. He would do anything for you. Didn’t matter what he did he done things to please others. You could not ask for a better friend and neighbor than Ken and Phyllis Breedlove. Remember Phyllis if there is anything that Jackie or I can do for you just let us know. We will be checking in with you later to see if we can help with anything.
